  • Lap: 1 Turn: chicane Drivers: Gilad Heskia | Yavgeny Patent | Yossi Gabay
    Incident Report
    General Collision
    Incident Response
    Gilad Heskia
After watching my replay i think i was over optimistic for this chicane. Although yossi has joined in a dangerous manner and moshe didnt slam on the brakes after the collision. I could be mor careful on this one.
    Yavgeny Patent
Just before the last chicane, Yossi spun and got off the track. He returned to the track when few other cars were relatively close, and then just stopped, blocking most of it, and the entrance to the chicane. I saw him and braked a bit too hard to avoid contact. Unfortunately, the driver behind me didnt brake on time, crashed into my car, pushed it into yossi's and finished the race for me. All in all, 5-6 cars were damaged in this accident, including collateral damage. I understand Yossi didnt see us coming because of connection issues, however I believe he could have moved once he saw us, or chose a a safer way to return to begin with.
    Yossi Gabay
I lost control before the chicane, had a self spin and face backwards. So I looked ahead waiting for the track to free. On my view only 2 cars was driving behind me, and so it was seen in my 'relative' view (also, before the spin I saw only 2 cars behind me in my mirrors). So, I've waited for those cars to pass and started to turn and suddenly 2 more cars shown from nowhere, so I braked and let them pass and started to turn again, during this turn few more cars suddenly shown, but they were too close. I hit the brakes to stop so they would see me standing and will try to avoid it but that didn't help. Sorry. This was either a netcode or maybe my PC wasn't able to handle so many cars at once, anyway, I couldn't do anything to avoid it since I couldn't know that more cars are coming (for example: if there was an accident in the back that causes this gap that I saw, since I couldn't see any sign of cars coming from behind). I put 2 videos in the below link - one is shown how the cars are suddenly showing while I'm turning (and braking 2 times as mentioned above), second video shows before the crash that only 2 cars are driving behind me. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B5uDHJ-hzAQqWXFVZUtkc2hXZGM?usp=sharing

The mistake made by Yossi caused this. I understand the limitations of the SIM as Yossi explained however it cannot be an excuse.

Yossi shouldn't have moved - or push to grass, trying to rejoin with A u-turn there caused this
    Yossi GabayCategory 3
    Steward 3
Bad rejoin. Yossi should have turned his car around on the grass and then joined off of the racing line. I understand that there were some connection issues, but they are not related to the way he rejoined the track. This was completely avoidable. The ensuing pile up ruined the race for many drivers.

I was trying to get out of the track as fast as I can . From my point of view the path was clear. There wasn`t any vehicle there...i have my replay from the race, i thing its bad ping because i downloaded peter`s replay and saw it .In there I can see clearly Leon's vehicle driving in my path something that doesn`t shown in my replay. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bbCwOYnIIHpo8M3e2iKOs3WX06ZJPiZW/view This is the link from my point of view in my replay.

Saar should have stayed with brakes locked. The issue of not seeing Leon is clear but the result and actions require a CAT 3
    Saar DekelCategory 3
    Steward 2
Late Braking by Saar need to be extra careful in the first corner on the opening lap
    Saar DekelCategory 2
    Steward 3
Saar was indeed trying to clear the track, but according the the league regulations after spinning or having an accident a driver must stand still until traffic has passed. If he had waited a few more seconds everyone would have gotten by and he could have turned his car around safely. This happened on lap 1 before turn 1 and thus punishment should be harsh. There were other cars approaching so even if he didn't see Leon because of connectivity issues he still should not have moved when he did.

    Incident Report
    Rear Bump
    Incident Response
    Reuven Chachasvhili
At the exit of turn 4, I was side by side with Dorian, I took the inside line while Dorian took the outside and Alon was behind him at the outer line. Alon got too close to me and touched my rear wheel, what caused me to lose the rear end and spin. After speaking with Alon, seems like it was kind of a netcode in Alon's side as in his replay he was very close to my rear but I'm not sure I can see the bump from his end (in my replay the touch is clear) IMO, First lap requires extra caution and respect to the competitors space (cold tyres + netcode), and in this case Alon could have left extra space.
    Alon Day
As it appear on my sim, I never got any contact with Reuven. I attached here a replay of 16 seconds from my sim for you to see. https://www.dropbox.com/s/meinbx7v2njgj0m/subses36721119.rpy?dl=0 It is unfortunate from Reuven and Im sorry for his lost. I am precise enough to judge distance between me and other cars and from my point of view I was far enough from him (which was the truth from my point of view in the sim), and a netcode ruined it. I have 7 inc during this race. 3 of 1X off tracks and one X4 for the contact with Dorian. I do not have any contact with him.

The front wing/side plate of Alons car is what touched Reuvens rear wheel. Replay fron Alons fron Right suspension and then moving the camera shows it. Its a very small contact .

it was a borderline netcode issue :) , RF Susp cam can give a good view

Even after looking at the replay section Alon sent, his right front wing was just under Reuven's rear left wheel. This was lap 1 and Alon should have left more room. If this was not on lap 1 I would have given Alon a CAT1, being lap 1 I expect a lot more caution from drivers.

Small contact but enough to send Reuven to the grass. From all replays, including Alon's, it does not look like a netcode.

I went into turn 8 leaving plenty of space, when entering the straight I was sure I had more space between me and oren and wanted to more more to the right, when I noticed he's closer than I thought It was to late.

Peter did move to much and aggressively to the right
    Peter GreenCategory 1
    Steward 3
Peter swerved to the side hitting Oren. If he had looked even slightly to the right before making the move the incident could have been avoided. While it doesn't seem Peter did anything on purpose, his error did basically end Oren's race.
    Peter GreenCategory 2
    Steward 4
Looks like Peter moved from his line to hit Oren, but that is on the "light" side of causing a collision.

According to league regulations the driver behind needs to have his front axle at least at the rear axle of the car in front at the braking point in order to take the inside line. Ariel was not even close and his front axel only got the Hagay's rear axle well after turn in started. Very aggressive move.

Saar did not brake on time and rear ended Yehuda practically ending his race. It is true that there was more space in front of Yehuda, but this was race start before turn 1. Saar should have been much more patient.

Yes, It seems like Yehuda is braking too early for L1T1, but still, this is 100% on Dekel. If it wasn't for Yehuda braking a little early than expected, it would have been Cat3

Moshe should have kept his foot on the brakes and not rolled forward into Gilad's path. Although Gilad was hit by another car just before, it does not excuse Moshe's behavior. Because of the extenuating circumstances with the big pileup I'm giving Moshe a Cat1 instead of Cat2 which he would have received regularly.
